Dustie Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 Hi all, Can someone help me please. I am not quite sure which weight sytem Oscommerces uses for shipping. Metric or pounds? If it's pounds etc.....can someone tell me if it's possible to change it to Metric and where?? Thank you for your replies :) Ann
♥geoffreywalton Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 OSC doesn't worry which you use, just make sure the shipping charges are for your selected unit of measure and you have edited all the language files to reflect your choice (if needed, as I haven't looked). Language files are in /includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/.... If you are using grams, just put in 4 (unless you use an external rate calculator to determine shipping, in which case you put the weights in according to the units that it uses).
♥geoffreywalton Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 Put your weights in as 4 or 8.
