boukmn Posted May 4, 2008 Posted May 4, 2008 I am stuck on the .htaccess file problem on yahoo. Yahoo will not recognize a file name beginning with a "." I tried removing it and uploading htaccess instead. This worked however, I could not change the name back to .htaccess on the yahoo server. Questions: 1. Is it possible to rename the file without the "." and have it still work with the proper security? 2. Has anyone installed osCommerce on Yahoo hosting and sucessfully navigated all these installation/config problems? These run-on setup problems are very frustrating for the newbie. :'(
killerbuzz Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 Im having the same problem, did you get it fixed? Yahoo is becoming a MAJOR thorn in my side....
