megandeppe
I'm trying to figure out which file to access to delete the box on the bottom of the main page that is headed: "New Products for (month)". It displays things in a seemingly random order, with insufficient information about the products to be useful to the customer. I'm also trying to figure out how to display my products (in an order I define) front and center on the main page. Am I just supposed to re-label the box I'm trying to delete and use that? If so - how do I define which products go in the box and in what order? If not - how do I do I display them there? Right now - they're all hidden away under the category labels on the top left box. Sorry - I'm brand new... just trying to figure this all out. Thanks in advance for any help!
web-project
modify the index.php file in the root of your oscommerce folder Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues. Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.
megandeppe
modify the index.php file in the root of your oscommerce folder Thank you for pointing me to the right file. I was able to delete the new products box. Any advise now on how to incorporate my product list into the main body of the front page (middle column)? I'm still getting oriented, so the obvious things are still eluding me.
