How Long Should it Take to Install Easy Populate Module

Greetings,

 

First post, first osCommerce setup, and first question I hope I can find some feedback on.

 

My developer has billed me 8 hours of work time to install the Easy Populate module and provide an Excel spreadsheet to begin population. This seems grossly over charged. I've installed modules and set them up in joomla in 15 minutes.

 

Is there any reason it should take 8 hours?

I'm fairly newbie, have had osCommerce for about 5 weeks - I checked the timestamps on my installation of Easy Populate...downloaded the contrib at 9:59 pm, had the files uploaded and done about 10:06... various edits done by 10:11...db change about 5 minutes later because I wasn't already logged into the cPanel... So maybe there's 7:45 of work needed to prepare the Excel spreadsheet? :lol:
