admin product graphics

I'm uploading jpg covers of mp3 releases to my store

they are appearing on the online store front but not showing in the Admin: Catalog/Categories/Products window

 

when I right click on the missing image in the admin window and copy the image location I get the following path:

http://anechoicmedia.com/oscommerce/admin/...tones_thumb.jpg

 

which isn't correct...which doc is adding the oscommerce into the filepath twice?

 

can anyone help with this?
