I have the seo modules installed on the site already and have approached an seo company and they say there are many things that they can do to help with rankings. Can high rankings with oscommerce sites be achieved, i'm after competitive terms like gift ideas and birthday gifts, am already on page 4 for gifts. My website guy seems to think that everything has been done to the site already and he doesn't believe that you can make changes to help increase rankings. my website is allthingsgifts dot co dot uk if you want to have a look? I would keep away from any SEO company that is not intimately familiar with oscommerce. Many work in html and they will make changes that, while valid on an html site, will hurt your oscommerce shop. Your website guy is mistaken. Making changes is the way to increase your index position in the listings and there are things that should be changed on your site. But also keep in mind that it takes time. If your site is new, it can easily take six months before you start to list well, especially on google. It depends on a lot of factors. Jack Hi jack Thanks for replying, the company i'm thinking of going with say that they can work with osc sites and that they have many times before but couldn't give me an example of one due to confidentiality. My site is 2 years old. Thanks Lianne
