Hi everyone,

First excuse my English (English is my second language).

Anytime I browse the forum I see lots of people complaining about the slow progress of osC3 development.

I just would like to say that this genius guy (Harald Ponce de Leon) is like all of us need to support himself financially to live.

He is not making money from this state of the art shopping cart software and has provided it for free for all of us to use.

But this guy has a life too so he develops this software on his spare time.

If we are really interested to see this project (osC3) evolve, which will make our life much easier once it is released. We should all come together and raise money for Harald Ponce de Leon so he can start working full time on osC3 and push the project ahead quickly.

I believe osCommerce community has thousands of users all around the world. If just let say about 1000 user come together and each pay $50 we would easily raise $50,000 for this project.

So please stop complaining about the slow progress of this project and start supporting the team especially Harald Ponce de Leon since he is the wizard behind this wonderful e-commerce engine.

Regards

Where do you think all of the money from the Corporate and Personal Sponsors, plus other advertising, goes to after bills have been paid?

Harald posted years ago that the money he receives allows him to work full-time on osCommerce.

If you want to send him some money yourself you can use his Pay Pal donation link on the www.oscommerce.com website - nothing stopping you.

Oh ok, Thanks Vger for the information.

I guess i don't know much about open source and how people make money out of it.

I hope all the best for this project.

I always donate to any open source software that I make profit from it.

Thanks again
