Delete categories - but the products still appear in new products and search

Hi,

 

I deleted the catgegories but this does appear to have deleted the products, The products now dont seem to appear anywhere in the admin console, but still appear under new products / search on the site.

 

Please help

I believe by not deleting the products first you will still have record in the produt to category table as well as the product and product description tables, and possibly others.

 

You could use the Easy Populate contribution to make products inactive.
