mjenkins Posted December 22, 2002 Posted December 22, 2002 I hope that I am not repeating the same information here, I see there are many questions about this. When using PayPal the shipping charge does not show up on the first PayPal screen. This is an issue with PayPal & the way they choose to show the information. If the shipping charge does not show on the second screen, it could be a setting in the PayPal selling options. If you log into PayPal, click the sell tab, go through as if you want to make a button for a shopping cart. Under ?Add More Options? you can select Tax & Shipping options. If there is a shipping option selected you must also check the "allow transaction-based shipping values to override " option. This allows the data passed through as shipping to be the shipping charge & override the PayPal settings. This does not fix the first screen issues, but it will allow the shipping data to carry through & get charged. This may also explain some of the other shipping charge issues, such as the data changing when you get to the second PayPal screen. PayPal may be figuring it's own shipping & as well as Tax for that matter. Again I hope this is not duplicate information, I did not see this in the postings. Of course I did not read all of them (only 30 or so.....). Happy Holidays!
