PayPal IPN payment but order incomplete

I just installed PayPal IPN on our new store. It ran on the old version fine but I didn't install it... that may explain why.

 

Anyway, we just got our first sale using PayPal IPN but the order didn't complete. It still shows as Preparing [PayPal IPN] and nothing has been taken out of inventory either. Is this something I forgot to do or a setting that is not set right?
