Digimas Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 Hello, I've been looking into osCommerce for the past week or so and have decided that I want to get started as soon as possible. What do I need to begin? Do I need my own web address domain and if so could I use a free hosting service such as Bravenet.com or something similar? Is there anyone else using a free hosting service with osCommerce that they can recommend to me? Thanks, this programs seems very exciting!

Now it depends what u want, I would suggest u that u get domain and some cheap, reliable hosting. For example 7$ for domain and around 5$/month = 67$ per year which is small amount. There are a lot instructions about oscommerce - how to install, modify, use etc.. so get to work :D
