Guest Posted April 29, 2008 Share Posted April 29, 2008 HI, Running the install, when i click continue it just sits at 'testing database connection' without going to the next state, the longest ive left it so far is for 25 mins!! my system is clean and has plenty of resources free. ive installed to the letter in ht docs, all my relevant permissions are 777 and the database login details are cut and pasted from the mysql panel on my isp (plus.net). I had os comm set up on the same space a few months ago but wiped it as i messed up some complex (beyond me lol) contribs.
