extreme-gadgets Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 Hi. I was wondering if I could authorize.net in Canada with OsCommerce. I'm aware that they require a U.S bank account. Now if I get a U.S bank account from TD Canada Trust (http://www.tdcanadatrust.com/accounts/usaccount.jsp), will I be able to use their service? I'm looking to purchase both their Gateway and Merchant Account services. Otherwise can anyone recommend a good alternative? I'm sick and tired of using Paypal. Thanks in advance!
insaini Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 really, no one knows this? The only way is to have an actual US bank account. The only Canadian bank that offers actual US bank accounts is Royal Bank. The other banks only offer US Dollar Accounts (The accounts are still located in Canada but hold US Dollars) .. Royal Bank differs in that you get an Actual US bank account with a US Routing codes and such. This is also the only way to get any US Checkout system working.. like for example.. Googles
