bradybarrows Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Changing header background color I changed the style.css background color of the headers to a darker blue and I have these little boxes on the left of each header that remained the original color. Do you know what can be done to make those little boxes turn blue as well? Very weird that it does this. The whole header should turn blue, now shouldn't it? If you want to see what I'm talking about: http://oscommerce.rosaceans.com/catalog/index.php Click to enlarge When I click to enlarge, it doesn't enlarge. I realize I need to have a larger image but how is this done since I can't find instructions on how to do this?
FIMBLE Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 The bit you are talking about are not background colours they are images, stored in images folder To have an image larger in size you need to upload an image greater that 100 x 80 then when you click the image to enlarge it. it will show larger. Thanks. That explains everything.
bradybarrows Posted April 27, 2008 Author Posted April 27, 2008 I changed the pixel_silver.gif to the correct color and uploaded it as the same name and it still shows the same color. I refreshed and also removed my cache to be sure and it still shows the original color to the left of every heading. What am I doing wrong? I uploaded a larger image for a product and it shows in the smaller 100 x 80 mode as stretched out of proportion which isn't good, so this doesn't work. I have to keep the smaller 100 x 80 as the image to use. Does this relate to the TOOLS/images settings in the admin area? What am I doing wrong?
