A downloadable file?

Hi, all i want to do is have a downloadable buy list, which i can just reupload monthly simply and let customers who want to trade in just click and download it nice and simple... (I gave up on trying to make a nice looking table). All my searchs of the fourms kept bring up threads about products... but i just want in an infopage, a simple click and it launchs a downlaod. I tried uploading the file I wanted to my public_ftp file setting it to 755, and then tried putting a link to its url from the page i wanted. But no luck :(. Could any one help me out on this one thanks.

Create a new page with an HTML link to it from a directory in your site where the file to download is stored, then you link to it each time you upload and overwrite the existing one.

if you want a table then it must be in this format

You obviously add and attributes you need to

Hmmm i wonder why it didnt work for me the first time, yeah i got the table down, with all the attributes i needed, plus linked the contents into search functions... Just couldnt make it look nice :). Ill have another crack at it later thanks for your help.

Perfect all is working well now will be nice and easy to update in the future. Out of interest can anyone see any security risks with this??
