nikikelly Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Am I crazy or is the "administrators" section in the admin screens new to RC2a? I don't recall seeing it in the previous version. So, in the past, I set up authentication via WebPassword on /catalog/admin as well as a new directory I created within /catalog/admin for a pared down set of admin screens. So, I was able to send one group of admins to /catalog/admin and another group to /catalog/admin/affiliate, each with their own separate login credentials. Is this new administrator piece simply creating what I WAS creating via WebPassword - only making it easier for me? Because now the password I have set up for /catalog/admin/affiliate section requires the one I set up via webPassword (with the popup login) as well as the login for /catalog/admin (via the store login screen), which wasn't the case before. Can anyone shed some light?

Now you can give the admin administration to your customers. I'll leave it to you to work out how to reset it when they forget the pw.
