empty space on all pages. centering problem?

hey folks.

This problem has stumped me for days:

Any Idea where I can locate and fix the cell or table where the empty space is shown here (in between "home of frequent buyer discount" and "your beauty" pic):

I've checked in index and header and switched everything to valign="top" but nothing happened.

Please help,

an update for those who'd like to help.....

if I remove the column left, the space goes away....

still stumped though

well it seems that since there are so many manufacturers, the column left is forcing the table to stretch and creating this "space". So I'm back to square one I guess, since I don't want to go to a dropdown.

 

 

Anybody know what cell needs to be changed to force the content to the top?
