Attribute With Added Weight

Hello,

 

On our site we use the attribute feature to add and combine items to certain products. As items are added by using attributes, the weight also changes. The problem is that, even though the weight is changing, the calculated weight is only determined by the original weight entered when adding the original product. Is there a way to increase weight when adding attributes??

If you have a limited amount of attributes you could simply check for them whenever a client checks out. If the attribute X exists add + 2 to the wieight,

if the attribute Y exists add +3 etc.
