adding banner and mailing list to my header.php

i'm rubbish at coding, drives me mad!!!!

 

i'm trying to add a link banner to my header.php pulling my hair out, i can't even get the image to appear!!

 

i want it to go from left to right logo (which is fine) > banner > mailing list coding

 

have'nt event started on the mailing list coding yet :(

I think you should put your banner inside a column: REPLACED FOR THIS ONE

GOT IT WORKING HURRAH!!!!

 

however....how do i make it more centralised in the header? directly in the middle, both height and width...
