sicpuppy Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 Right Just had a buyer pay via credit card, I have no idea where the payments gone! I completely forgot to take credit card off from a payment method and now I dont know where the money is! Can someone help. Regards

Guest Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 To charge a Credit Card you need a Merchant Account. You can apply for one from various companies such as Authorize Net or Worldpay.

Guest Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Can't tell you directly as paperwork is at office. It was a % + a fee. I negotiated the rate favourably to achieve a similar outcome as HSBC charges. Recent payment was £8 with 43p charge as small amount transaction. Point is, for a start up site it is worth it until transactions grow, then change to mainstream with a valuable account record. They are one of the few that offer setting up service in 24hrs, albeit for an extra £30 one off charge. Others take weeks sometimes and charge £250 setting up fee.
