Site switching languages randomly

I have reports of our site switching languages randomly...

 

I have had it happen to me in admin without clicking any language control

Now I have a customer who mentions the same thing happened on the front end.

 

I am sure it is not from entering the site with a language= link.... It just happens out of nowhere it seems.

 

Has anyone seen this before? and if so, where to look for the solution?

I had the admin panel popup in german on me last night spontaneuosly. First time I've seen this and I have no idea and am not glad that this has happened to somebody else.

 

Will keep an eye on it. Can only consider that a bot or spider and I accessed the same page at the same time.

 

Any better informed ideas?
