infobox sort/filter

I looked everywhere but I can't find anything like it. Is there an infobox that contain product filters like price range, brand, product type, etc. I notice a lot of website I visited have them. Newegg is one. It would be included on the column_left.php.

 

Second question, is it possible at all to do this? If so, how would I go about doing it. I'm pretty new to osc and php, so I would like some suggestions how to get started.
