The company marketing the template instruct users to 'overwrite' their entire shop with the unzipped contents of their template file (almost 1000 files in all). The template appears to be neither STS nor BTS types. Since I have installed several contributions onto my shop (SEO, Header tags, etc.), I would almost certainly be losing all of the functionality I have added over the years. The template retailer does not offer advice regarding the compatibility of the template with OSc shops which have already been customized, other than 'use a compare utility'. I do not want to check each of the hundreds of files for possible changes. Is there a rule of thumb in terms of which files I should focus on? I presume the template design is created by the modification of only a handful of files. But which ones? Note: I have not installed either the STS or BTS Template systems. Thanks in advance.
