Hey everyone. i know no one missed me, heck, no one even knew who i was.. But anyways, life derailed me temporarily from my goal of getting this website up and running. But now that it is ALL behind me, I can move forward with my plan.

RIGHT before i got derailed, i hired a popular company that specializes in OSCOMMERCE contributions to add the easy populate and USPS and UPS shipping contributions to my page. They sent me all the info about how to go about setting it to my own personal settings and said if i had any problems to let them know. That was atleast 6 months ago. The thing was, after i took a quick look at what they did, the poop in my life hit the fan and i did not fully take a look at it.

ANYWAYS, this bring me to my current problem.

When you go to my main page www.furryfamilysupplies.com/catalog everything is great. Then you click on the categories like Birds, Cats, Dogs, and Reptiles, everything works great, but if you click on Small Animals, the rest of the navigation disappears. And if you click HOME, it brings you back to my main page, but the default menu is there with the computer categories like Hardware and Software and such.

can someone tell me what in the world happened here?

I am also trying to find the company that did this so i can talk to them, because i NEVER had this issue before.

THANKS

Thats strange!

Are the categories still in your database?

Have you checked your Configure. php to make sure its all in order

yeah, that's really weird behavior. it's almost like it's switching from one database with your categories in it to another one with the hardware, software, etc. categories. i noticed that when you click on the 'home' link, you lose the &oscsid= parameter in the url and this is when it goes back to the 'default' categories.

if you can, post the includes/configure.php file - without the passwords and such, and hopefully we can get to the bottom of it.

Login to your Admin, and be sure "Use Cache" is set to false

If not, set it that way and see if it makes a difference.

If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.

I'm sorry.

I was looking on your webpage. But look like you working on it.

Just trying to check the problem.
