gauravgs Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 Hi all, I want to have two types of customers in my site (build using osCommerce v2.2) one is a normal one(like everybody has) and the other is the special customer. My problem is that I want to create a separate payment option for the special user (say, 'special transfer') , also I want that only special customer should have access to this 'special transfer' only. similarly the normal customer should not have access to this 'special transfer'. I want to create a system which allows for showing the associated payment method only, based on the customer type (i.e. normal, or special customer). Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

gauravgs Posted April 24, 2008 Author Posted April 24, 2008 there is a contribution called separate pricing per customer which may fit your needs. This contribution makes a group of users, but I want that the special customers should not be provided with the payment options except for that special transfer which is on papers only,.. i.e. if the customer is a normal customer than the default installed payment modules are displayed. and if the customer is a special customer than only special transfer is displayed as a mode of payment, I donot want the special customers to be able to see the default payment modules installed. I have done the validation of showing only the required payment module to the special customer, but I cannot move further if the default payment method is not selected. It gives an error, so could anybody tell me how to bypass the checkout_payment and checkout_confirmation page.
