Cheops Posted December 21, 2002 Posted December 21, 2002 When i leave the Graphs directory in chmod 755 i get, when trying to acces the Graphs directory from the admin/tools page, the error-message: Graphs directory is not writable. It displayes the Graphs, including the history from previous days, so it seems to be writeable anyway. But, why then this error message? When i chmod the Graphs directory to 777 i don't get that error message anymore, but now it doesn't display anything anymore. No graphs, no nothing, just a completely empty "frame" where in the other case i at least could see the generated Graph(s) What is causing this, is this a real error, something wrong with my installation, or what? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Cheops Posted January 21, 2003 Author Posted January 21, 2003 Here some info regarding where i've installed the shop: Database: MySQL 3.23.51 HTTP Server: Apache/1.3.27 (Unix) mod_perl/1.26 mod_throttle/3.1.2 PHP/4.2.3 FrontPage/4.0.4.3 mod_ssl/2.8.11 OpenSSL/0.9.6f PHP Version: 4.2.3 (Zend: 1.2.0) I still can't put new graphs(banners) in the directory... please help.
Guest Posted December 3, 2003 Posted December 3, 2003 Hate to open this O-L-D thread, but I am having the same problem and have found no other answers... anyone? :)
Guest Posted December 3, 2003 Posted December 3, 2003 Ok - I am stupid. I found it. For others, it is referring to Banners dir in Images directory and not Graphs dir. Chmodd Banners and all is well.
