Razerz Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 I have installed this language pack on a clean install of osCommerce. But when I view my site (www.iknos.se/butik/catalog) all å, ä, ö characters are missing, in their place are questionmarks (in Firefox) or squares (in Internet Explorer). When I view what character encoding Firefox uses it reports UTF-8, and when I change it to ISO-8859-1 everything works fine. The file swedish.php in catalog/includes/languages also reports to use ISO-8859-1. Changing it to UTF-8 hasn't worked for me. So, anyone that can shed some light over this? Thanks for any and all help

This is just a last call for help before I let the thread die I have the same issue, I have tried everything I can find to get this corrected and still not straight yet. If i do in FF view, character encoding and change to iso 8859-1 everything is good... otherwise it loads as utf8. but even if i set the code to iso8859-1 it doesnt work still. wondering if you figured it out.
