ksource Posted April 21, 2008 Share Posted April 21, 2008 I have three websites that need to hold all the same products. I had modified one website and updated all the products. The problem is that the other two websites use different model names. The two website use actual names for model names, and the updated one uses SKU. My question is, if I wanted to copy the updated websites products into the other two, is it going to mess up the previous orders? When orders are recorded do they store the actual product ids? Would I need to import all the products in addition to the old ones and then disable to old ones(make inactive)? I have 13,000 products so I'm not sure how well that would work.
