DeptofWorks Posted April 21, 2008 Posted April 21, 2008 Hi all, Is it necessary to add a .htaccess file to the admin area in OS Commerce RC 2.2 a? There seems to be a login module already installed? Is it really necessary to place htaccess files or password protect the admin directory again using htaccess if this seems to be done already? Sorry if this is a bit of a 'newbie' stupid question - its confusing that the documentation for this release seems to suggest this is necessary, even though a login area seems to be already there... Similar posts about this seem to go back some way - Im assuming that its not necessary as the login area for admins seems already there? Thanks, Dan.
