Palmac Posted April 21, 2008 Posted April 21, 2008 Hi, I have seen this shopping cart (http://www.tecnonline.com/) and I really like their implementation, seems to be implemented using oscommerce. However, I am really puzzled with how is implemented the cart contents on the upper right corner. If all pages are static html pages, how is this implemented? I mean, how we can achieve this by coding? Thank you
Jack_mcs Posted April 21, 2008 Posted April 21, 2008 I don't understand your question about static pages but if you are referring to the shopping cart contents in the upper right corner, that is done by a contribution. I think it is called In Cart. Palmac Posted April 21, 2008 Author Posted April 21, 2008 Hi Jack, I mean that the web site is showing .html pages instead of .php (I guess that it is using redirect). However, how are technically implemented the dynamic cart contents? Is it building the html pages on the fly? I don't understand your question about static pages but if you are referring to the shopping cart contents in the upper right corner, that is done by a contribution. I think it is called In Cart. Jack_mcs Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 It is most likely just using a url rewriter. The urls are rewritten for each page so the seach engines see them as html. The actual page is still dynamic.
