web-project
Mine is not a ssl certificate site. But is set up for secure payments with paypal having PayPal as one of the payment methods it doesn't mean that personal information is secure passed to your server. You still need to purchase the SSL certificate to protect the client personal information. Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues. Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.
Guest
- No SSL cert despite expecting customers to hand over personal details (name, address etc etc) - No physical address - No contact telephone number - UK store (.co.uk) yet default currency is US $ - Try adding an SEO url contrib such as Chemo's Ultimate SEO URLs - Do you really need to know a customer's gender or date of birth? - The less a customer needs to divulge the better they feel - You have the languages box - yet only one language option - why not simply remove it? - Carefully consider your returns policy - it is likely to be in breach of the "Distance Selling Regulations" - Your shipping info page state "Prices are exclusive of VAT" - this is illegal unless you are selling exclusively to other businesses (B2B), you must display prices with VAT where applicable - If you are focussing on the UK market why not change the address fields to the standard UK format on the sign up page - I would offer more information about the shipping methods other than calling them "Best way" - name them by carrier and type of service - Why so many payment methods - do you really accept all 7 of them? - If I were a customer and wanted to pay with a credit card I wouldn't know which to choose! (also no SSL!) - Do you need the counts next to the categories (It will slow the site) - There's no way to logoff from the site
