Guest Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 hello, your site is a stock install of OSC and needs alot of work.. You need to add a logo to your store also you do not have ssl so i would not purchase from the site.. Tim

Tim The Website came with 500+ ebooks and the database was populated and the site was installed and all setup for me and they even went and made a backup of your site all for $19.99
computel Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 One thing he fails to mention he was told about the logo( Never provided a logo or anything) and also he has to get the SSL from his hosting provider which is not us he used his own. He fails to mention the site was installed tested many times with paypal. He is selling ebooks and not to many ebook sellers use SSL on their site. He got 500 + ebooks and the database all populated/with images and installed on his server for 19.99 and a lot of other time was spent doing extra things for him at no charge. Example making a backup for him using his hosting panel. Setting and changing things on his site. Also fails to mention responded to 25+ Messages in the last 4 days most answers were within a few minutes of his sent message helping and answering questions he had. I think his site will never be complete as he doesn't know much about how things work but is quick to say things are not complete and looking for reason to think the site is not ready to make sales. ALso fails to mention I stayed up till 4am answering questions and do work on his site. I setup the site as soon as he paid. I really don't know what to say but we did what we said we would do but he continues to want more and more for that 19.99. I guess people on here can do it for him for free. Not one of our customer that we have sold this site and setup have complained but they thanked us as they bought other sites that didn't work from others that claimed it worked in PHP 5 but didn't. We made sure that this store worked on PHP 5 and updated the Quick Updates price change script ourself to make sure it worked in PHP 5 as it did before we did mods to it as the one on the OSC contributions is out of date. So you can see we did a lot here and I'm not a bad person that left him high and dry like we were when we bought this script and it didn't even work and we updated it to work in the latest Oscommerce release and add the features of the old one and made sure it all worked.
