Guest Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 Hey guys, Alright you know when you install an Oscommerce template, and it says do you want to import the sample catalog? I found out where I change that it is in the oscommerce.sql file in the install folder. But it is a bit of a mission to change everything in there. (All settings, all images and sample catalog I want to install for each shop I setup). I tried to save the mysql database and then use that as the oscommerce.sql install but then it says that "Table 'sheerdee_shop.configuration' doesn't exist". I bet you guys know an easier way to save settings of oscommerce and sample catalog etc so that I can use for another one? I have googled and everything but cannot find anything anywhere. Thanks heaps in advance, I really appreciate people who help out and with an open source software like this I think it is really great. God bless you all! Sheldon
Guest Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 Bumppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp I think I could just change the oscommerce.sql install, but im sure there is easier way.
zhexiang Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 Dude... You have to change the codes in install.php, if that's what you want. If you understand the code, then good for you; otherwise forget it... Another way is to proceed as it is as guided by the wizard. After installation then use phpMyAdmin to upload your own sql database file, replace the default one in new database.
