screege Posted April 20, 2008 Share Posted April 20, 2008 I do not wish to unrespect anybody but for months there hasn't been anything on the new version 3.0, I have gone thru the news and announcements and nothing, I checked haralds profile and he hasn't logged in since febraury, I have used oscommerce like forever but I feel that it has been abandoned, I hope I am wrong since it is the best cart I have ever used. Guest Posted April 20, 2008 Share Posted April 20, 2008 i'm hoping the new release takes as long as possible to come out, so everyone keeps making contributions based on 2.2 :) as customized as my cart is, i don't think it's in my future to upgrade even IF it's released soon. If anyone has any info I will really appreciate it. I'm not qualified to speak for the project but it is true that it has been awfully quiet the last couple of months. Harald has been very busy with private matters, that is one thing. He is still full of plans and has been working on things for the next alpha release (although is it not in the code repository yet) so no, osCommerce is not abandoned.
