web-project Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 basically better re-upload the whole oscommerce code & re-install all necessary contributions. don't forget to backup everything & merge MySQL database. Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues. Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.

Till now i didnt no much about websites and there construction. i know a little html. so from the site they gave me i did a few upgrades. i have alot of products updated to my site. so i dont really wanna have the site down for to long. but i do wanna change the look of the site.. from what i can tell i have to upgrade to a rc2 to be able to have a more fancy template.. i have been reading threw this forum for the past just about 8 hours and my head is turning in all diffrent ways... can anyone guide me in a step by step way to change over to a rc2 and having a new template. with out having the site down for to long.
