thenook Posted April 19, 2008 Share Posted April 19, 2008 Howdy, I recently restored an OSC site from a 1 year hiatus and it went much better than expected. I have all of my data, items, postage module worked first time, but I had some questions about the customized info I paid through the nose for the first time I set it up and was hoping to get some help.... 1: On the main page, I understand how to edit the page in the admin manager, but it seems before I could just enter the HTML of a html file in a stand alone editor, ftp it up and it would change the page content. I am not sure if this was a custom mod or what the html file would edited to continue editing it in that fashion. 2: It seems before, I had a link in the admin that would let me add and edit additional custom info pages, but I cannot seem to find out how to do that now. I had several additional info type pages on my site and would like to put them back. 3) How do I remove or rearrange the parts of the page such as the bestseller, information, language, reviews etc... 4) The Paypal setup seems different. I only accept PP in the US, money orders for the rest of the world. By using the Paypal US module and the apparently new check/MO module, would that be all I need to set up for that arrangement? Copy them down onto your pc (ftp) and make a copy, edit and upload back over the original. 3 See the knowledgebase documentation, see common probs link below. 4 Yes, along with the use of zones.
