osCommerce

The e-commerce.

Mass importing

I have a questions as to how I would do this in OSC.

I have a supplier who gives me a file with 30,000 products in it. I want to build and deploy this into an oscommerce store. The structure of the categories, etc. is in the file (i.e. Computers->Laptops-HP) and there are quite a few so setting up the category structure manually is impractical. If I need to I can churn this file through a PHP program and create any kind of output that I want.

Some key questions:

1. Can I mass import the catalog like that with categories being built dynamically?

2. Can I add the SEO information (unique for each product) to the import and have it appear correctly on each page?
