svh1 Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Hello, osCommerce has been running for a client since before my time here at my job. I've never had a complaint or problem with it ... until today. Suddenly, I'm getting the following error on the orders page: Orders Order ID: Status: 1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '-20, 20' at line 1 select o.orders_id, o.customers_name, o.payment_method, o.date_purchased, o.last_modified, o.currency, o.currency_value, s.orders_status_name, ot.text as order_total from orders o left join orders_total ot on (o.orders_id = ot.orders_id), orders_status s where o.orders_status = s.orders_status_id and s.language_id = '1' and ot.class = 'ot_total' order by o.orders_id DESC limit -20, 20 [TEP STOP] I have a feeling that it has something to do with the limit settings but I'm no expert at MySQL. Any thoughts on how I can get this fixed?
dmnalven Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 Negative arguments are not allowed. What file generated this error? For ALL problems, please review this link first -> osCommerce Knowledge Base
♥Vger Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 You usually get that error when you use an older version of osCommerce and you've deleted all orders from the database. It can also happen if your hosting company has upgraded PHP and/or MySQL Vger
