Problems with payment modules

Recommended Posts

Hi there :)

I got the oscommerce webshop working good, but I cant seem to find out how to install the payment modules. I am trying to install paypal's official module found at: https://www.paypal.com/en_US/html/Solutions...oscommerce.html .

The problem is, that when it goes from "order confirmed" to pay, it doesent bring the list of ordered items with it... :'(

I have no idea what to do, and I am not a programming specialist... :( So I was hoping someone here would either: know what to do, or know a paypal plugin that is easy to install :)

Thanks a lot :)

Christian

Oscommerce comes with paypal payment modules. You need to go to admin (your_site.com/admin) side to install/activate and configure it. It will be under modules/payment.

Once paypal payment module is installed, you can edit the settings. One of them is TRANSACTION TYPE. I think the default is AGGREGATE. Set TRANSACTION TYPE to PER ITEM if you want to see item list.

This applies to Paypal IPN module 2.3.3. It might apply to other paypal modules as well.

You don't have to be one to do this. It would be great if you are but not necessary.

Yep, I am using the admin tool... and I have just set it to "Per item", and now it shows the items that I put in the card.. But the price is set at 0.... :-" ??

There is a few things it is asking for in the configurations, which I am not sure what to put:

Your Private Key

Your Public Certificate

PayPals Public Certificate

Your PayPal Public Certificate ID

Working Directory

I really feel on deep water here... :(... would you be able to take a picture of your settings? Feel free to blurr out some of the info, it was just so I can get an idea how it needs to look.

noone knowing this? :(

The various paypal modules that are available from the osc site or come with osc usually have a support thread. You should find the support thread for the version you wish to install, and if there is no answer, post your query there.

Bumping is against the forum rules and just annoys people.
