Erik Bazuin Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Hi there, im totally new with oscommerce. I installed oscommerce and it says that the installation and configuration was succesfull. I see two button "catalog" and "administration tool" If i push one of these buttons i see the following.. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1146 - Table 'mysql.configuration' doesn't exist select configuration_key as cfgKey, configuration_value as cfgValue from configuration [TEP STOP] ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How do i fix this? I have absolutely no idea. Could someone help me through a step by step solution?? Greetings erik
web-project Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 from the error message I can say that you need to create the configuration table in MySQL database as it doesn't exist. Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues. Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.
