lgarvey Posted April 16, 2008 Share Posted April 16, 2008 Hi, Does anyone know of the best way to construct a simple course booking system in osc? Do modules exist, or not to handle course bookings? It needs to be reasonably simple to administer and use. We'd need to be able to accept deposits / reservations, and full payment, and there would need to be a table listing all current courses. I am looking at Openfreeway which is a modified osc that handles events and so on. It looks rather unweildy and would need fairly extensive customisation to fit our needs. So I am thinking, why not go back to a vanilla osc install and start again. If there are modules available that I can build on, it would be a real help. I am a PHP developer and have some experience with osc, so I am really trying to make a decision as to whether I customise osc, customise freeway, or go bespoke. Look forward to some feedback!
