right column disapearing for some reason?

I am wondering if you ever came across with right column disapearing when you make payment and you go to pages like 'checkout shipping; checkout payment; checkout confirmation; checkout success?

If I go to my webpages my right and left column are displayed there until when I go to checkout shipping; checkout payment; checkout confirmation or checkout success only my left column is displayed and doesn't display my right column at all what I see there is only blank space there on the right. I checked files chekout_shipping.php; checkout_payment.php; checkout_confirmation.php; checkout_sucess.php I see that there is code statement to display right column.

I am not sure what is causing it? I looked arround but I can't find anything but I don't know much about PHP so I would love to get your help

In catalog/includes/column_right.php you will see this code

  if (substr(basename($PHP_SELF), 0, 8) != 'checkout') {
include(DIR_WS_BOXES . 'languages.php');
include(DIR_WS_BOXES . 'currencies.php');
 }

That will remove the lagnuages and the currencies from your right column during checkout. This is a must. If you allow people to change their currencies during checkout it can mess up your order totals.

If that is all you have in your right column then during checkout your right column will be gone.

Brian,

The languages and the currencies are not there at all in the right column but I have like Information, Paypal etc.

But when you showed me the code above for the column_right.php I was able to fix it by removing "checkout" only from the code

from this code:

by doing this my right column is back when I am in checkout pages.
