Davefromcornwall Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 We've just got our Pets Express store set up using the wonderful osCommerce cart. We would like to thank the creators of the cart, and all those whose contributed add-ons make it so customisable. There's a real sense of community and sharing about osCommerce which is refreshing. Any thought about our site are welcome, though we only have a few items listed (we are in the process of adding more). Thanks.
burt Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 I find your "most viewed" scroller incredibly annoying. Why do I want to know what other people have viewed? Other than that, it's OK!

Other than that, it's OK! Thanks Burt. Some folks like scrollers and some don't. I think they add a bit of movement to a site and allow me to display photos of quite a few products in a small space.

I've replaced the scroller with a little flash box which shows multiple images, which go to the product when clicked. I think it looks better than the scroller.
Gary-London Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 You need to look at your title tags for the 'For Cats' & 'For Dogs' pages. Current title - <b>For Cats</b> Just a small thing, otherwise I like it!! Gazza If its not broken...why try fixing it??

Until I find a better way of making the category titles bold (I name them <b>Dogs</b> in admin, as it's the only way that I've found after hours of searching!), I'll have to put up with the ugly title tags. Unbolded category titles looks worse than ugly title tags, in my view.
