Error message in the Admin section

The company I work for tried to do a product update (in the Admin section) . . . it was just a price change. We made the change, then we hit the 'preview' button, and then we hit the 'update' button. When we hit the 'update' button, this is the error message we get:

Warning: glob() expects parameter 2 to be long, string given in /web/osc/admin/includes/reset_meta_cache.php on line 36

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /web/osc/admin/includes/reset_meta_cache.php on line 36

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /web/osc/admin/includes/reset_meta_cache.php:36) in /web/osc/admin/includes/functions/general.php on line 18

This has never happened before when we made changes to products. Can anyone tell me why this might be happening now? Thank you in advance.

The errors are all resulting from the first error.

I have never heard of the page 'reset_meta_cache.php'

What osC version and/or contributions are you using??

Hi, thank you for responding. I am not sure what version of OSC we're using. As far as the contributions go, we have multiple contributions within our pages, including: Mopics, Featured products, Discount coupons, printable version of webpages, among others. What do you think???

Thanks in advance.

Does the page 'reset_meta_cache.php' have anything at the top that tells where it came from?

Hello again. I just realized that one of the contributions we have is cDynamic Meta tags. This is the contribution where I think the error is coming from. What do you think???

That is what the error says. Does the addon have a support thread?

Does the contribution 'cDynamic Meta tags' have the page 'admin/includes/reset_meta_cache.php'?

And if it does - then Coopco has a good suggestion..

Hi

I don't know yet if there is a support thread but I do know for a fact that is where the error message is coming from. I found the file in the cDynamic MetaTags contribution . . . reset_meta_cache. What would you do if this was your website? Would you re-install your backup files and get rid of the cDynamic contrib.? Thanks in advance.

I would try to fix the error by looking for the add on support thread to see if a fix has been posted.

You could try and find out what value is being sent to line 35 parameter 2 - that would be a function asking for an integer not a string.

The 2nd variable should be set somewhere above..

Hello Coopco and Lloyd

Thank you very much for your responses. I will look for a fix to the problem within the support thread. Hopefully I'll find one. If not, I'll just put back my back-up files. Thank you again for your responses. I really appreciate it. And if you think of anything else, please let me know.

Have a great day.

Hi

I just wanted to let you know that I fixed the error by restoring my back-up files from that cDynamic Metatags contribution. I was not happy with the contrib. anyway. I'm sure it works fine for some people but for me, it didn't.

Anyway, thanks again for both of your responses. I appreciate it. Have a nice day.

Hello again

It came from the contribution cDynamic Metatags. It was one of the files I had upload with the contribution.
