Partial Admin?

I am in need to allow a user to log in and manage the catalog items, but not mess with the rest of the website. Is there a way to allow someone to log in and have permissions to add catalog items, set prices etc. but not be able to do the other admin capabilities? I only want to the customer to manage the items for sale and run reports, not be able to mess with the osc settings.

Thanks

You'll need to install the access levels contribution.

Thanks for the direction. The latest contribution that I located was 2.2a. Seems like this is a fairly old contribution. The references in the file edits do not even exist in the latest osc (v2.2 RC2a). Why I don't think this compatible, the first file edit does not even exist in the file mentioned (admin/index.php). It did indicate that if the contribution was not a new installation, to manually do the edits. When even trying to find the line, it is not even in the file specified.

($cat = array(array('title' => BOX_HEADING_CONFIGURATION,) When I check the osc build, the use of BOX_HEADING_CONFIGURATION is used in admin\included\boxes\configuration.php, but not in any index.php. This seems like there is definately no compatibility in the files and structure.

Do you have a clear idea of the package needed for v2.2 RC2a? I do have the PayPal contribution installed, but there should not be much changes for the core package.

Thanks for any insight.
