How to add a text option within an addon box

Hi...

 

I'm trying to edit the Simple Visitor Newsletter and I want to be able to put in something inside the box, NOT on the nav bar for the box but inside it... and above the search box that says"

 

Please enter your email address and click 'subscribe' to get our free newsletter.

 

But I can't find an option to do that for the life of me. I think there's a line of code that should be added... but this is my first store and I'm having a hard time figuring it out.

 

Can you tell me what line of code I add to call on text? I see in the "about us page" addon that the document for an addon in catalog/newaddon.php has an echo_textinformation... and I found that code and edited it... but I can't do it for this addon.

 

Any help?
