Individual Shipping Module

I had this contribution working fine after I made all initial modifications, I tested it by adding shipping price through the admin on different products and it showed shipping costs at checkout, and calculated with paypal no problem. Since it was working fine I decided to upload a .csv file to populate the products_shipping table as I have over 200 products. after doing this now the shipping is not showing up in the check out, I emptied out the table and started over again by adding the ship price through the admin again, but still does not show up???

 

Any ideas what went wrong here? Am I missing a step? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The same thing has happened to me. Our customers pay by paypal but the shipping option has totally disappeared and our webmaster has tried with no success to reinstate it-if you get any answers I would appreciate some advice. Thanks :thumbsup:

Are You sure that the shipping value for each product is there.

 

Also chek in db whether this shipping module is installed or not.

 

If Yes then in the shipping Module where it chek for enabled disabled place a code and chek whether its enabled.

 

If yes then chek its quote code as to why no ahipping is coming.

 

 

An approach of step by step chek will only provide You with a solution.

For the products_shipping table the field product_ship_method_id is set default to 0. Even when I enter through admin every row shows this value for product_ship_method_id as 0. I am not sure if this is correct or not. The shipping price has been entered correctly. And the module is enabled.

 

I am not sure what you mean by check the quote code???

I am having a very similar problem to you and I don't why either.

 

I have installed the latest full file set of the Individual Product Shipping Prices contribution and am having some problems.

 

I have installed the contribution and it's all seems to be working fine in the backend admin area, I can input individual shipping costs without any problems. The problem comes in on the front end of oscommerce. I've disabled all the other shipping modules except for the one I want which is the individual shipping one. When I go to the checkout page it does not show any shipping costs, and it doesn't seem to add them on the cost of the products, so it doesn't seem to be working:/

Am pulling my hair out - I have no idea why it's not working.

 

Am also using PayPal for payment.

 

Can anybody help please???

We are having a similar if not the same problem.

 

Customers make orders, then when going to paypal they are not charged at all for shipping if choosing UPS.

 

This is very similar to the problem we faced back in November of 07 with the USPS module updates.

 

Please let us know if there are any fixes for this yet?

I have a new site and it had a $5 flat shipping rate which was default with the site. It was also visable on the cart page. My supplier only uses ups grd. I removed it (flat rate) and installed the ups grd module and it said it installed but was never visable anywhere no mater how deep into the cart I got. I have downloaded a UPS module and installed the code where was instructed but still have nothing showing anywhere. I am very new to this type of progamming. I also did back up and remove the old ups mod. Am at wits end, dont have clue what I am doing or doing wrong.

I am also using pay pal.
