BryceJr Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 ... Im not sure where i need to put oscommcerce onto my ftp but now i cant just go to "mysite.com" and have oscommerce show up. how do i get my actual store to show up when i go onto mysite.com? You need to copy the contents of the catalog folder to the root directory of your webspace. If this is a recent install and haven't added plenty of modifications, do the install again. If you don't want to do another install, you still need to copy the contents of the catalog folder to the root AND modify includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php to reflect the changes.
boostanddestroy Posted April 14, 2008 Author Posted April 14, 2008 it wont allow me to put it just on my root directory. I am putting it into my public_html folder. Set all of the permissions to 777, went to mysite.com/install and it is not working. Any suggestions. noob-
