PayPal Website Payments Standard Display Issue

Added the PayPal Website Payments Standard Module. Works perfectly except it blows apart the checkout confirmation page. Shown here at http://cedillerecords.org/catalog_new/paypal.jpg. Page works fine with any other payment selection.

 

Appears to be these two lines of code -

<?php

if (is_array($payment_modules->modules)) {

if ($confirmation = $payment_modules->confirmation()) {

?>

When this code is removed, the page formats properly, but then the order is not prematurely added to the admin center or sent to paypal correctly.
