ting Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 I'm trying to install OS Commerce and I'm getting the following error message, can anyone help me resolve this? The webserver is not able to save the installation parameters to its configuration files. The following files need to have their file permissions set to world-writeable (chmod 777): /srv/www/vhosts/mywebsite/httpdocs/catalog/includes/configure.php /srv/www/vhosts/mywebsite/httpdocs/catalog/admin/includes/configure.php Thank you

Apologies for being really thick! But can you tell me what I need to change, I'm new to this and a little step by step guidance. Thank you

Thank you I found it...that little word called "permissions" kind of threw me...but not for long. I'm going in for the installation, wish me luck
